An optional solid CoCr alloy wedge ensures low friction and extended service life. The packing rings are precompressed to 4000 psi, delivering a high-integrity seal. In welded bonnet models, the bonnet is threaded and torqued to a precise value, then strength-welded to the body, providing double leakage protection through both the threads and weld.
A fully guided wedge design minimizes wear on seating surfaces. Optional features include double packing, a leak-off connection, live-loading, and a packing blowout for easy maintenance and removal of old packing.
