The ASTM A351 CD4MCU Wafer Check Valve, supplied in accordance with API 594 standards, features a duplex stainless steel body for superior corrosion resistance and strength. We specialize in the manufacturing of wafer check valves, featuring a center vertical pin shaft design. When the valve is open, the resultant force of the fluid acts on the center of the sealing face of the disc, while the counter spring support force acts on the center of the disc surface. This design ensures that the root of the disc opens first, preventing wear on the sealing surface, an issue common in traditional valves, and extending the longevity of the valve's seal.
The wafer check valve operates automatically, opening and closing based on the flow of the medium itself. It is primarily used to prevent the reverse flow of the medium, offering reliable, self-regulating operation for various flow control applications.
