The ASTM A105N Y Globe Valve is a forged carbon steel valve designed to API 602 standards for durability and performance. With a DN50 (2-inch) size, Class 2500 LB (PN400) pressure rating, bolted bonnet, and butt-welded ends, it ensures secure, leak-free operation. Forged Steel Globe Valves are precision-engineered to meet international standards such as API 602, ASME B16.34, and DIN 3202 (or equivalent). These valves feature a compact yet robust design, making them ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. The solid CoCr alloy wedge (optional) reduces friction, extending the valve's service life.
The packing rings are precompressed to 4000 psi, ensuring a high-integrity seal. For welded bonnet valves, the bonnet is threaded in and torqued to a specified value, with the body-bonnet joint strength-welded for double protection against leakage. This dual-layer protection includes the body, bonnet threads, and the welded joint.
The fully guided wedge design minimizes wear on seating surfaces, enhancing valve longevity. Optional features include double packing, a leak-off connection, live-loading, and a packing blowout for easy removal of old packing, further ensuring reliable and efficient valve performance.
