The Wafer Concentric Butterfly Valve is designed to maintain a reliable seal against bi-directional pressure differentials, preventing backflow in systems intended for unidirectional flow. The valve achieves this with a precisely fitted seal, gasket, and O-ring, all precision-machined to ensure a tight seal. Both the upstream and downstream sides of the valve feature a flat valve face for improved sealing. The valve body is equipped with threaded inserts on both sides, allowing for installation using two sets of bolts and no nuts. This installation method permits the disconnection of either side of the piping system without disturbing the other, providing flexibility and ease of maintenance.
