Key Specifications / Features
The Electric Actuated Butterfly Valve is a high-performance valve designed for efficient flow control. Manufactured according to API 609 standards, it features a concentric type design with a durable ductile iron body. This 4-inch (DN100) valve is rated for PN16 (Class 150 LB) and is equipped with double flanged ends for secure and easy installation. The electric actuation provides precise and automated control.
The Wafer Concentric Butterfly Valve is designed to maintain a seal against bi-directional pressure differentials, preventing backflow in systems designed for unidirectional flow. It achieves this with a tightly fitting seal, gasket, O-ring, and precision-machined valve face on both the upstream and downstream sides of the valve. The valves feature threaded inserts on both sides of the valve body, allowing for installation into a system using two sets of bolts without the need for nuts. The valve is installed between two flanges, with a separate set of bolts for each flange. This design allows either side of the piping system to be disconnected without disturbing the other side.
