The Bevel Gear Knife Gate Valve, designed for bidirectional shutoff, features a durable ductile iron GGG40 body. The wafer ends provide easy installation, making it ideal for systems requiring precise control and efficient flow isolation in both directions.
The maintenance-free compact cross seal, featuring a double seal lip profile, ensures a tight shutoff and can be easily adjusted without interrupting the operation. A self-cleaning effect is achieved through flush-out corners in the body and the cutting edge beneath the gate. Solids and fibers are cut by the cutting edge before the seal tightens against the elastic seat. The gate's guidance is interrupted during stroke length, allowing dirt to be ejected. Bidirectional shutoff is provided by the lateral gate surfaces and an elastic seat integrated into the body. The seat is chambered and prestressed for optimal performance. High-quality finishes on the guide and sealing surfaces on both sides ensure long service life and tight shutoff. The lateral guidance of the gate prevents fluttering in either flow direction or during throttling.
